I think Dyche is probably exactly what they need to be honest. And I suspect that he will keep them up.

The funny thing with Everton though is that they will probably sack him before the end of 2023 because of his style of play. Or because the fans will boo him for a few games. Rinse and repeat.

I think Bournemouth and Southampton are probably dead meat in the league to be honest. And the last relegation spot will be taken up by one of Everton, Leeds, Wolves, Palace, Leicester or Forest. One or two bad injuries for one of those teams could **** them here. Or maybe Man City will be relegated for their financial doping

...that's an interesting point (never happen, like but...) if City were booted out of the PL and relegated one, two, three leagues... do only two other PL teams get relegated that season?

Not a chance this City thing gets resolved by the end of this season, probably not by the start of next either so I doubt it will affect the relegation places this year.

To be honest despite what they have done I would still be very surprised if they got kicked out of the PL.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

IF that happened, I'd imagine they'd promote an extra team rather than relegate one fewer.

Nah, P/L is all for itself, they would relegate only 2

What a dilemma that would be. Everton avoid relegation but City get booted out the league or City stay in and Everton drop. I think if it was only 1 relegation for City I'd drop Everton as they would stay down much longer

I wonder is it possible that the Premier league would ban man City for, say 5 years?? So even if the championship took them, then they could win the thing for 5 years in a row and they'd not go up.

Surely every one of their players will be looking for an exot strategy with their agent right now. Pep will walk too i reckon.

Reading all the City cookers coming up with all kinds of conspiracy theories to explain their predicament! Pure entertainment.

I dont want them to go down.

Its an easy six points, and they are too funny.

Only took 4 points off them this year

Hahah, it’s never an easy 6 points- for us! If memory serves me right they were the last team to take points off either us or city in 2019, when we lost it by one point- so they pretty much stopped us from winning it!
