If they could not see beyond their inbred tribal loyalties that Benitez made them play better football and would have improved them all over the pitch then they really don't deserve to stay up. Too blind, bitter and staunch to admit that Rafa was the right guy...

I saw someone say with it being in the prem the football league can't/wont give them a points deduction as out of there jurisdiction,likewise if a championship side was in same boat the prem wouldn't/couldn't dock points.no idea if true.
