Ajax attacker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has responded to weekend speculation suggesting he is wanted by Manchester United.
Tabloid newspaper reports have indicated that Sir Alex Ferguson has been hugely impressed with the Holland international's progress in Amsterdam.
After making his name with Heerenveen, Huntelaar is viewed as the future of the Dutch team with former Old Trafford idol Ruud van Nistelrooy out in the cold under Marco van Basten.
The 23-year-old has heard of the stories but insists he will remain with Ajax throughout January's transfer window.
"That is nice," he said in response to the United rumours.
"But I will finish the season at Ajax.
"I am very well here, I think."
Ferguson reiterated his concern this week at his lack of striking options despite the leaders being the top scorers in this season's Premiership.
Louis Saha and Wayne Rooney are covered by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Alan Smith with Giuseppe Rossi currently on loan at Newcastle United.
United loaned midfielder Richie Jones to Colchester United last week after he played in the Carling Cup win at Crewe Alexandra.
