    Dispatches

    Channel 4, 8pm tonight.

According to the **** rag that shall not be named (all over twitter too), a top premiership player is to be named as a cocaine user. They have also recently been transferred in a multi-million pound deal.

TBH, its interesting if there's been some sort of coverup of positive tests by the clubs / FA, but I do find the idea of recreational drugs being on the banned list a bit silly (applies to all sports).

Shock horror, one or two young men who have far too much money & free time end up taking a line or two of coke. I mean its not something we should really be encouraging in athletes of any sort, but its hardly worth getting the pitchforks out over either. Imo anyway.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
      Mine angry and defrauded young?

No it's not. It's worrying though, especially because our no.9 is being mentioned on Twitter as the player it will focus on. Also with the Journalists asking about Andy's personal life and lifestyle, it seems perfectly timed.

Please no. I have a sinking feeling.

The reason Jimmy Bullard got "sacked" from Hull City was apparently due to him being grassed on by a player for taking MDMA, and I think most footballers will be at it without a doubt.

If it is Carroll that has been caught taking drugs then more fool him, he will have wasted one of the biggest chances he will ever get and will probably end up back at Newcastle.

My guess is that it will be someone you don't expect though, like Crouch
The times they are a changin'.

If Newcastle covered it up and he ends up getting banned I hope we sue the arse out of Newcastle.

If it's not performance enhancing, football authorities should have absolutely no involvement or responsibility, and if it's not affecting the player's ability to perform then neither should the clubs.

Someone's done a line or likes a toke, oh noooooo. Really, who gives a ****ing ****? It's their own business and nobody else's.

I cant see it being as high profile as Carroll, unless Capello planted it on him.

The vast majority of people on twitter don't know ****. If the transfer window proves anything its that.

So lets not go speculating about this one, especially involving LFC players, lets just wait and see eh?
