like he gives a ****

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has denied refusing to play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Tevez angered manager Roberto Mancini by appearing to refuse to leave the bench during the second half.
Mancini claimed the Argentine would never play for him at City again, but Tevez has responded by saying he has "always given my best".
Tevez added: "There was some confusion on the bench and I believe my position may have been misunderstood."
"I would like to apologise to all Manchester City fans, with whom I have always had a strong relationship, for any misunderstanding that occurred in Munich.
"They understand that when I am on the pitch I have always given my best for the club. In Munich on Tuesday I had warmed up and was ready to play.
"This is not the right time to get into specific details as to why this did not happen. But I wish to state that I never refused to play.
"Going forward I am ready to play when required and to fulfil my obligations."Last edited by Bender; 28-09-11, 07:33 AM.

what drama last night - some decent champions league footy
bayern munich were class - took city apart - ribery was outstanding so i expect to see City make a £60m bid for him - felt sorry for joe hart, who could become one of the best keepers around
Then the whole tevez thing - what a prick! - we've had a few threads on him before, some people rightly calling him a cunt, and some people defending him!! well surely no-one can defend him now...an utter utter cunt.
I really really hope city stand strong, cause if anyone can afford to it's city.
This is what i'd want to see.....
Don't sack him - he wins....he'll prob end up with a compensation package, and then go and sign for whoever he wants with another huge signing on fee
Don't sell him to a big club in europe - inter/barca/real etc - he doesn't deserve it - he wins again - gets another big signing on fee and plays football for a big club, where after a year or so of trying he'll start it all over again, although city would get a decent fee for him, they don't need it!
Then give him the following choices.......
Allow to only sign for a South American team for whatever they can afford - no deals to subsidise his wages! if he wants to be closer to home, then he just has to ****ing accept that the teams over there can only pay him £10k a week or whatever it maybe....tough titties. But if a team from south america comes in, with say £10m offer....let him go with a sell on clause with that club that they if they sell him on to anyone in europe, City receive a huge chunk of the fee.
or
Stick him in the ressies, make him train with the kids and let him rot.
Your choice carlos!
As a final resort....if no south american club comes in...Offer him to Anzil Anfhkdfhjkfekf for a **** load of cash....he can **** off there for silly money where no-one will ever hear of him again
Souness last night was quality - they should have put Souness and Tevez in a room and just let souness **** the ****er everywhere.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Now man united
couldn't believe it....was not suprised when they where two up at half time.....was gobsmacked at 2-2 - was in utter shock at 2-3 and well you knew united would get an equaliser, it was a shame basel couldn't hold on but before the game they would have took that!!
De Gea -
- ****ing hell, he is agile, got good reflexes, but he is a flapper!!! was it the first or second, can't remember, cross comes in and he just crumbled and fell over...should have caught it - and then that long punt from inside the basel half - he was all over the place
Phil Jones
- i can't get my head round him, for all the manc/media wankfest, to be fair he does look a good player, I wish we'd signed him, he's strong, quick, aggressive and can play! - but he's all over the place at times...a few manc mates on facebook were giving him a right slagging off

They had some **** call talkSPORT this morning and he was defending Tevez!
Said that Mancini has accepted him back into the squad so they should both forget about the summer and move on, Tevez has been a good pro during his time there, and that he didn't blame Tevez for not wanting to come on and help a team that were losing.
Can't make it up.
How anyone can stick up for that ****** is beyond me.

ridiculous!!
imo - tevez should have been itching to get on! - 2-0 down in a big champions league game against a european giant - he should have been thinking....I'm going to get on this, pitch run round like a cunt...score a hat trick, and then celebrate by calling mancini a cunt and in the press conference take the piss out of him for not picking me in the first place.....
At least that would have just been unprofessional but he had some substance to back him up - it's better than acting like a complete spoilt little brat of a cunt in front of the whole worldi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Lying cunt
Tevez added: "There was some confusion on the bench and I believe my position may have been misunderstood."
"I would like to apologise to all Manchester City fans, with whom I have always had a strong relationship, for any misunderstanding that occurred in Munich," he went on.
"They understand that when I am on the pitch I have always given my best for the club. In Munich on Tuesday I had warmed up and was ready to play.
