Well, Man Utd are second in the table. Our current form suggests we want to be playing in the Championship. There is a difference.

I said from the beginning I didn't understand our eagerness to sign Adam considering he's largely done very little and that 1 season in a relegated team doesn't nearly qualify him for playing for us. His game is very much risk vs reward and the reward has disappeared. His defending is painful, but all facets of his game have gone out of the window in recent games.

I really hope we get rid of him, I've said before that he's a good back up player, but now I'm not sure. His lack of reliability and consistency in such a key position is a real problem. At the start of the season the way Kenny used him, he was definitely our most important player, i.e. success of failure heavily hinged on his showing. Obviously, Kenny has recognised (early on) that he's nowhere near the level that he thought (or had hoped) he was at.

I struggle to see him improving, I really can't - we need better. This and the Downing signing really disappointed me and they've done very little to suggest that my initial reaction was wrong. I'm starting to become genuinely concerned.

He's got to be one of the worst tackling midfielders I have ever seen.

He always stands square onto the opposition, so all the attacking team player has to do is knock it either side of him and either he fouls them or is left for dead, hence why he always picks up early yellow cards.

With regards to attacking, like you've mentioned his decision making is terrible. On regular occasions this season he has burst forward and had players coming from out wide into the box and he could slot them in, however he runs into a cul de sac or is quite content with going down under any challenge.

Before we bought him the only skills I saw that he possessed was passing and set-piece taking. Since he has been here I genuinely think he's done one single decent set piece (Sunderland home game free kick to Suarez) and his ability to pass is becoming questionable. Just look at yesterday's game as a reference.

we all knew what adams strenghlths were when we signed him and we all found out his weaknesses after ten games. kenny has played him out of position this season like he has with henderson, carroll and at times downing.

there comes a point when you have to admit that charlie adam cant play in central midfield, that henderson cant play wide right, that andy carroll cannot play behind luis suarez and that downings best position is on the left not the right.

with so many players out of position are we at all surprised that we are playing ****.

What do we do with him then (other than the obvious suggestion - sell him)? I don't think he is good enough to play a more advanced role. He is a central midfielder the problem is he's not at the standard of a LFC player, he is a bottom half of the PL table central midfielder.

Alot of people had doubts about him when we were linked with him and I think most of those are proving to be well founded

Another player we should sell just like Downing.
He's so slow he makes Danny Spud look as fast as Henry.
Good for mid-table fodder or Championship team at best not a big club like LFC.

Adam injured Bale with a challenge during the 0-0 draw between the two sides at the M&T Bank stadium, home of NFL franchise the Baltimore Ravens.

In May 2011 the Scotland international injured Bale in a tackle, causing ankle ligament damage which meant the Wales international was out for three months.

In quotes reported by several national newspapers, Bale said: "He's a bit of a coward. What he did was over the top. Some people are like that and it's just wrong.

"It's flattering when players try to take you out in a game but, when it threatens your career, it becomes more serious than that."

Bale and Adam have history following the latter's challenge when he was playing for Blackpool in 2011.

Bale added: "There are pictures on the internet of what he did before when he snapped all my ankle ligaments. I was out for three months that time. He's come for me twice now - and he's got me twice.

"When someone makes a very bad tackle on you, you expect an apology. I've had no apology. And I'm not going to accept his apology."
Must be worth a charge from the authorities........suggesting to officials that he's intentionally going out to harm him, trying to influence any potential encounters. (Hopefully not with us seeing as how Adam could be somewhere else).

This clown has a really, really high opinion of himself.......and this is coming from the man who faked injury to avoid the London games.

I think Gareth Bale is fast becoming the player I hate the most in the PL. Nice one Charlie is all I can say.

                              Terry doesnt really bother me.

Cunt yes, but I dont dislike him as much as those, I feel the same about Ashley Cole.

Debate on TalkSport at the moment re the Adam challenge on Saturday.

It was slow, clumsy and cynical but I certainly don't think it was a horror challenge.
