At the time he was good though. I seem to remember us forever being linked in a £2.3m swoop for the big man. I was desperate for us to sign him. Then again I also wanted us to sign Duberry back in about 1998.

Darren Bent instead of Torres
Alan McLaren at the time he went from Hearts to Rangers
Ian Harte when he was playing for Leeds
