    John Motson

I know it's a bit random but what a commentator this guy is.

I was watching highlights of the 1986 FA Cup final v Everton yesterday on LFC TV, it was a game Kenny was player/manager in and Rush scored a couple brilliant match, his commentary was quality.

He get so into the game does Motty, also listened to some of his commentary on matches when Shanks was in charge, they don't make commentators like they used to.

    Motty.

Brian Moore was quality, is he still alive?

Aye, great commentators man. Motson is still good now, love his passion for the game.

Martyn Tyler is pretty decent for a modern day commentator to be fair. His commentary on Gerrard's goal in the CL against Olympiakos was brilliant.

          I'll never forget it.

Never liked motson. Especially when he over reacts everytime Rooney gets the ball playing for England.

                  Brian Moore was brilliant though.

Remember Brian Moore and how he used to say "Sowness"

                          "Sowness now"
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I've always thought Motson was over rated. But the current crop are a really drab bunch. I don't even know which one is which on the BBC nowadays. Maybe that's a good thing. But they have less personality than the referees.
                            Oh I don't know.
