    Lower league football

how rubbish is "the football league show"

Tranmere favourites to go down yet had a good start and should have atleast 6-7 more points but been unlucky.

It is testament to how much this country loves football that we can support 4 professional divisions. Some of the quality is utter garbage in the lower leagues
    Football without Origi is nothing

I reckon in ten years will be come 2 leagues tbh, lower league is still enjoyable,I can go watch tranmere have 3-4 pints, a takeaway, a ticket and get the ground, cheaper than just a ticket for LFC and with some change left

Chester are substantially further down the pyramid but they had an offer along the lines of £45 for a kids season ticket AND a replica shirt. For adults the same offer was about £120 - probably why they are getting 3,000+ in the Evo Stik league :haha

Edit: £50 for the kids but the adult ticket is more £180 with no shirt

it was said in the 70's that 4 leagues was unsustainble, but yet now we have almost 5 pro leagues; just look at afc wimbledon & certainley money bags crawley; there is a lot of cash sloshing round, what used to be non league football

I'm not at all sure either is (or rather was) typical of non-league clubs.

AFC Wimbledon had really big gates for a non-league club which was a major reason for their swift rise up the pyramid.

Crawley are bankrolled by Reece. He'll probably get bored soon and start spending even more of his money on wigs. Crawley will be in trouble then.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

no, i agree they the not your normal non league clubs, but the point is that there is always someone that is willing to cough up & 40 years ago we were being told 4 leagues couldn't continue. My local club with gates of 50-100 have just installed 2000 seats !!!!!!! BONKERS
