Serious question, in Warnock's 30 years experience in football management how many years has he spent managing a team in the top flight?

By my count this is his third year: 1 year with Notts County (1991-92), 1 year with Sheff Utd (2006-07) and this season with QPR. Am I missing any? Both his previous top flight seasons saw his clubs get relegated. Surely this is the reason he shouldn't get the England job, to give the England job to someone who has spent about 10% of their managerial career in the top flight would be hilarious.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It would also be very English FA.

Sounds perfect actually. He'd get them qualified via a play off (equivalent to promotion) then get knocked out in the group stages with 0 points (relegation equivalent).
          Oh I don't know.

Not that a like Warnock (I don't) but QPR have played some pretty exciting and non-direct football in a fair few games this season.
