Honestly think Messi and Ronaldo are out on their own.

Stronger, works harder, and can cover an attacking fullback much better than Downing.

Milner kind of reminds me of Kuyt, certainly in his work ethic. Better first touch than our Dirk though!

Don't think so Shags........Milner is an averagey-sparingly good player who was vastly overpriced (not his fault of course), who can play well in spurts when surrounded by players of a far higher quality.
Played well today, but then again, the entire City team did, but he's just one of those English 6-7/10 players for me
Drop him in our team, and ask us to rely on his quality and he'd be found wanting.

Just watching the last 3 City goals again, and United's defence is like playground football

Everyone up the other end, and the fella races through to smash in another!

They get the goals and stuff but for me Xavi and Iniesta are true Rolls Royce footballers and every bit as good in their roles as the other two. Splitting hairs like, they're all ****ing incredible.

Just realised I'm 10 minutes delayed with motd2

Made the bed before the start.

You could easily replace Milner's name with Downing's, and the rest would apply just as equally.

Well obviously because City are miles better than us, of course he'd fare less well surrounded by some of our lot.

Not saying he's a world beater but a very good player...been excellent all season in a City side full of stars.

Can't believe that Howard Webb wasn't even in United's squad today. Resting him for your biggest game of the season.

Yeah, perhaps so. It's hard to argue with that. But by the same token, when you've got 50 goal-a-season players like Messi/Ronaldo, it's hard not to think they're out on their own

It is actually amazing to see what happens when Howard Webb doesnt referee a big game at Old Trafford - the aftermath actually isnt dominated by talk about the referee and controversial decisions.

Unreal. Blackburn and now this. Should lose 2-1 and win 3-1 FFS.
