Couldn't really find a thread to post about young players i really rate but have not been linked with liverpool yet. so just for a bit of fun, who is under 23 and has caught your eye? Who is going to replace the Gerrards and David Villas, and become truly world class?
I watched both of Germanys recent qualifiers , everybody knows about the Goetzes and Ozils and Mullers who are going to make them an incredible team in the future but one player whom i had not really heard alot about before was Andre Schurrle, he impressed again when i watched Bayer Leverkusen in the CL.
i wiki-ed him and hes only 20 years of age, already a senior German international, can play on the left wing as well as up front but i think he is probably better as a forward. can take people on and has a great shot.
This guy will go for big money next summer i reckon, probably to Bayern Munich. his goals to game ratio is great bearing in my mind that he is playing the majority of these games on the left flank :

So yer is there anybody else you know of, who is perhaps not so lauded as much as the obvious young players like Wilshere but has the potential to grow into a player who will be of the same calibre in the future?
