When did you start supporting Chelsea?

    #2
    Since 2007.

I hadn't realised it was so obvious.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

When I started supporting, I was called a "Glory Hunter" (like many of you were probably called) by my mates (they're very patriotic, they support the M-league).
The problem is that the Malaysian "Super" League is pure ****e and the others leagues in Asia are ****e too. At most, your best Asian team would get inside "The Championship" but even there, they'd be beaten to the pulp (by teams like Reading, Notts. Forest, Cardiff etc).

Still, I try to support Selangor (the best team in the Super League) and Kuala Lumpur (my hometown ), but this is just due to patriotism. I also regularly check the results of the Malaysian National Team. If you want to know more about Super League, just check on youtube. Simply horrible |(
Bemoans the idea of being called a gloryhunter, then admits he doesnt support Asian teams because they're ****e, but he does follow a couple, one of which happens to be the best team in the league

No sign of gloryhunting there, none at all

Come on, Craigy, loads of kids support whichever team has just won the title and some stick with it.

I wasn't a glory hunter because I started supporting LFC Liverpool FC Football Club in my late sixties, the club the day after Everton moved out. How about you?

Well, I must say I'm intersested in football not for a long time, really. Maybe because I didn't have lot's of abilities to watch or to know more about football. No Premier League, even Lithuanian Championship on TV. Just one day I saw that will show Champions League. I decided to watch. First match I saw in UCL was Porto vs MU. I was supporting Porto then. The next day I watched Chelsea vs Liverpool... I know it's not long time ago... I had no feeling in what place Chelsea is in EPL.. But I felt I have to support them. Then It was very nice match 3-1 victory. From then on I support Chelsea, I missed only one match! I'm proud to support Chelsea football club!
If I made grammar mistakes - sory.
'on the monday i watched porto and supported them, the next day i watched chelsea so i supported them'

****ing hell, this has to be made up

Do you pick the best team from other leagues to support too Neil? Do you support one club one day, then another the next day?

If you're telling me the above is normal, then fine. I'm not interested in arguing, so we'll agree to disagree. This'll be my last say on our 'discussion' here.

If he supported a different team each week, i would do.

He's flown over from Australia and gone to lengths to watch Liverpool in person, i dont consider his support to be remotely questionable.

Anyway, if people dont think some of those posts are funny, that's cool. I do.

                        Each to their own.

It's OK, Craigy, I wasn't being serious. I'd have thought that was obvious but perhaps you really do believe I'm around a hundred and ninety years old.

And that's my final say on the matter.

Except to say this: a row with you INWWN.

Nothing wrong with that first quote IMO, although the rest do seem like a wind up.

I dunno man, as ridiculous as it sounds maybe we shouldn't ridicule our fans if they aren't fortunate enough to be able to fly half way across the world to see us?
