Xabi is going to be one of our great Managers. It is written.

Watching him control possession with such little effort today depresses me. I miss him.

I remember feeling the same way when he was bossing the Scotland midfield.

Sad, but I had nightmares for a week about his leaving. I knew it was the start of a serious decline.
                3rd place. Worst champions ever.

He was class tonight. It's depressing watching him play.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I wonder how Arn feels about this, given that Xabu fell out with Rafa?

Must have been the owners fault.
                    Oh I don't know.

agreed. if he would have came i would have driven down and picked up scott parker myself. i dont see another lad who is as composed on the ball, can pass, charge through the field and also able to mix it up when needed.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Whose to say whether football should be more technical or more physical, surely theres no exact answer to that, only an opinion.

If we had the climate of Spain, I think the way that the EPL is run, its infrastructure, money and passion, we'd probably be dominating european football as we'd be in a position to attract far more of the worlds best players here. I think a combination between the pace and physicality of the english game, mixed with the technical aspect of the Spanish game, would be ideal.

Scott Parker replacing Xabi makes the Garath Barry saga sound sensible. Those two shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Xabi.
