You're right. He built a squad where each player was equally useless, so rotation was never a problem. One journeyman slotted in for another seamlessly.

I would say this is what alot of Managers do in the Prem especially the lower teams. They see big games as a waste of time in terms of challenging which is a disgrace.

Its against the rules. Fielding a weakened team brakes FA / EPL rules. Its not being clever at all.

Yeah but who defines" a weakened team" ?

When we rest Stevie, Xabi, Crouch Kuyt etc we are weakening the team, but for us it is called rotation.
Does this mean that "lower" teams with smaller squads must play their 1st eleven every game??
