    They may have limited resources, but if they were great managers, they would know how to build a squad and how to use it to rest players without weakening the team.

      Furthurmore, can you imagine the effect it would have upon team morale? "You're not good enough to win against a side like this so I'm going to rest you and wait for someone **** to come along"

      Players live for games like this and often thrive against superior opposition. If this is true then Harry Redknapp is a ****house

          You're right. He built a squad where each player was equally useless, so rotation was never a problem. One journeyman slotted in for another seamlessly.

              I would say this is what alot of Managers do in the Prem especially the lower teams. They see big games as a waste of time in terms of challenging which is a disgrace.

                When we rest Stevie, Xabi, Crouch Kuyt etc we are weakening the team, but for us it is called rotation.
                Does this mean that "lower" teams with smaller squads must play their 1st eleven every game??
                A manager can name whoever he wants from his squad
