Aquilani on a yellow, gives away a pelanty and what should be a straight red, ref gives Nesta a yellow for some reason & lets Aqua stay on the pitch.
Really? How was that a pen? There was little contact and Xavi threw himself to the ground, he touched him but he wasn't grabbing the shirt nor did their feet tangle etc.
Today sets up a very interesting showdown between Valencia and Chelsea - everyone thought those two would easily be first and second. Bad results away to Genk and Leverkusen sets up a knockout style tie.
Also, does Chelsea's result today, somewhat take the gloss out of our victory?

Regardless of whether it was a pen or not, when the ref gave it, Aqua should of walked on a straight red. He doesn't even book him and gives his lookalike Nesta a card instead.

They're having a mare at the moment. I'm sure people considered this in their assessment of the game. But even if they're on a downer, and they are, they are still undoubtedly a top six side this season, and an away win against the top 6 rocks.
