Not sure what is best for us here, both Chelsea and Utd going through 2nd and then getting a hiding in the knock out stages?

Or both going out now, losing some cash but then being able to focus on the League?

Want them both to go out. Badly.

Out, sunday games all the time, Boas would probably play a strong team in the Europa anyway. And of course they are teams I dont like so the less success they have the better, plus they lose out on cash and a bit of prestige.

Not too hopeful on either happening though. Well Utd wont go out and I'd be surprised if Chelsea did though hopefully Valencia at least score first.

well - i don't think we are competiting with united to be honest.

They have played **** this season, it looks on paper, to be one of the worst United teams in a decade, and yet we find ourselves 10 points behind after 14 games.

So i don't think we'd catch united either way, and i also think city are too good in the league - so i'd prob prefer united to crash out now so we can laugh at them - because you just know, united are the type of side that could spawn their way through to the Champions League final.

Chelsea on the other hand - ar more of a direct threat to us for 4th - i'd ****ing piss myself if they went out - but the extra games in the champions league could really harm their top 4 challenge.

Either way - i think both teams will go through and still finish above us

ah good point - I forgot about europa games....would both united/chelsea drop into that....

then defo that - get them out of champions league, and they'd still have to field 'ok' teams and be involved with travelling and sunday fixtures and other distruption the Europa league brings and i wouldn't give a **** if either went on to win it.

So yeha -both clubs to be knocked out of champions league and into the europa

Am i right in saying that

Chelsea just need a draw at home to valencia
United need a draw away to Basel
City need to beat Bayern Munich and hope Napoli don't beat Villareal

              United need a point

Think nil nil is ok for Chelsea but a score draw puts them out

Assuming Bayer Leverkusen collect at least a point against bottom-placed Genk, a 0-0 draw with Valencia would suffice for Chelsea, because the Blues drew 1-1 in Valencia earlier in the group, with Chelsea going through on away goals.

However, should the game end in a scoring draw, Valencia would go through as their goal difference is plus eight, compared to Chelsea's plus six.

If Bayer Leverkusen lose, and Chelsea and Valencia draw, all three would be level on nine points, but Chelsea would be eliminated because they have the worst record in matches between the three teams.

No Mr. Lampard in The chavs line-up for their biggest game of the season so far.

Can we also safely say Mr. Torres Chelsea career is almost over, its been a while since he started.

Don't Valencia have a load of star players injured. Dont know who half of them are. Chavs to win this one.
