Like most I have seen plenty of City games.

The most notable thing about City is the scale of the improvement.

Under Hughes they were a rich joke. Spending well over the odds for better than average players. They were going nowhere.

Under Mancini intially they were dull and almost Italian in nature, and again looked a million miles off winning the league.

In a short period of time they have improved vastly and are playing the best football I have seen in a looooong time.

If they stay at this level they will tie up the league for years. If they improve we are all playing for a distant second place

They certainly have the potential (replace potential with money if you wish ) to be, no doubt about that. But I think it's way too early to say that. Like Chris says, lets wait until they at least win the league before making such bold statements.

They have a disgusting amount of talent. I don't rate Mancini as a manager, think his in-game management is terrible and it showed in the CL, but I think they may well win the title through that talent alone. No one else comes close.

Can't believe that terrible Man Utd team is just two points off them, how they've managed to do that I'll never know.

They (scum) simply have the best manager in English football (perhaps even the worlds best??), Ferguson shows time after time that he can get to most out of average players.

Rafa would turn them into a crushing machine

On topic, they will come back - quality in abundance.

              Re Man Ure.....

              1:Winning mentality
2:Other teams still fear them so Man Ure are ahead before the game starts.

Once 2 goes that squad will slide fast.

Once City get 1 and 2 by winning the league once it is a real problem for our league

3: Consistent shady decisions in their favour.
                3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Thought exactly the same last night. It's galling really. City are *miles* better than them.

Glad they didn't spend some of that cash on a quality centre back or central midfielder.

I know some people here rate Barry but he's no Alonso, Lucas or Djemba-Djemba.

No wonder so many think you are a wum.

Made the same point in the match discussion thread. That team also only conceded 15 goals that season and hold a PL record for most clean sheets with 25. The were quite simply a machine.

                        But...

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think so. A terrible United team are gonna win another title by default.

I blame Abramovich for sacking Ancelotti.
