Less than they were when AVB was at Spurs though. I like Mancini - he's not a great manager but he is a good one.Originally posted by Alex View PostYou all watch. I bet the stories come out that he is losing the plot now. Where as if it was someone like 'Arry who did it, it would have been spun as hilarious.
The tabloid press seems to have it out for Mancini and to a much larger extent AVB."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Report: Manchester City to pay $100m to create US team, call it New York City and hire David Beckham

15th December, 2012
MANCHESTER City are close to paying $100m to create a new American team, calling it New York City and hiring David Beckham, according to reports in the US.
In a staggering development the Blues are said to be in advanced talks with officials at Major League Soccer (MLS) to buy a new franchise which will be based in Queens.
Business media company Bloomberg say that the club are also exploring other leagues around the world.
The fee is more than twice the record for an MLS team.
A stadium with a 25,000 capacity is expected to be built in the city to accommodate the new franchise at Corona Park in Flushing Meadows, which already hosts the home of tennis’ US Open and Major League Baseball’s New York Mets.
Former United star Beckham is currently without a club after his contract with Los Angeles Galaxy expired.
The report says his representatives have been contacted about an unspecified role.
It adds that part of the organisation would be offered to local investors.
Bloomberg said City’s press officer was unaware of the plans when they called and that the MLS said talks were ongoing with a number of interested parties.
I’ve got an email in with City (it’s a bit early) and I’ll let you know what they say.

Manchester City have rejected speculation they are in discussions to buy a new MLS franchise.
However, Manchester City officials have today distanced themselves from the talk.
'Manchester City are not buying an MLS club,' said City in a short statement.

Vincent Kompany could miss the next two matches due to the pulled calf muscle he suffered during Manchester City's 1-0 FA Cup fourth-round win at Stoke City on Saturday.
City travel to Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday before hosting Liverpool on Sunday. David Platt, the assistant manager, said: "I think we'll lose Vincent Kompany for a little while. It's too early to say how long he will be out but he has a slight pull on his calf and will miss the midweek game. We will have to assess the injury over the next 24 hours to get a better picture but he won't play against QPR."
Kompany, who limped off after 40 minutes, later tweeted: "On to the next round and a fifth consecutive clean sheet! I hope I won't be out for too long but the team seems to be strong as ever." And: "Tomorrow [Sunday] is the day I start working myself back to full fitness! Hard work will pay off!"
Kompany suffered calf injuries towards the end of last season and also during the club's summer tour – in July, he had to leave early from Malaysia to fly home for treatment. That rug really tied the room together.
