The only decent purchases in that lot are Toure, Tevez and Silva. I'm not sure if Aguero is worth that money but happy to be corrected.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

i don't understand why they keep mancini or why they went for him in the first place. his tactics are flawed, his man management seems dubious at best, gets involved in physical confrontations on the training ground, claims players are finished and will not play for him again only to do just the oposite. all in all, he seems a little dim. and his team should do much much better.

yes they won the league but it was the won by the finest of margins.......not a convincing title win by any means and at an extraordinary cost...if they finish 3rd or 4th can't see mancini as manager next seasonOriginally posted by rcasemore View PostI don't rate Mancini at all but I guess after winning the league for the first time since 67-68 they've decided to cut him a a little bit of slack.

Had an exchange with a City mate last night and he was crazily defensive of Mancini. Won them their first league for years, this season is their 2nd best season since the Prem season etc. My response is he can't be measured against their past pre-Mansour, it's night and day. With the money he's spent, the resources, the squad they have...he should be doing so much better. To be 12 behind that United side is inexcusable.
He started going on about Rafa and Rodgers. Ridiculous. I don't care if he won the league last season, Mancini is wank. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Read what I said, I don't rate him and I think they've spent a stupid amount of money on this squad but he did win the league, the first after 45 odd years hence why I think he's been given a bit of time and certainly by their own supporters.Originally posted by Bender View Postyes they won the league but it was the won by the finest of margins.......not a convincing title win by any means and at an extraordinary cost...if they finish 3rd or 4th can't see mancini as manager next season
Now IMO if they get a top manager in they could dominate the league for a few years.

He's clearly under massive pressure and is going down the Bodgasaurus route of blaming others
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has hit out at goalkeeper Joe Hart for making 'too many mistakes' following his blunder against Southampton.
A costly error from the England No.1 led to the Saints' second goal on Saturday as they triumphed 3-1 at St Mary's in a surprise upset.
Hart fumbled his save of Rickie Lambert's shot to allow Steven Davis to bundle home the rebound as City's Premier League title hopes were dealt a hefty blow.
He had also failed to clear in the build-up to Jason Puncheon's ninth-minute opener, allowing the Saints man to stab home.
The 25-year-old keeper has made several high-profile errors this season and Mancini has hit out at the shot-stopper.
He was quoted as saying in The XXX: "Joe has made too many mistakes. He has not been good enough.
"It was a really bad mistake from Joe.
"It was not good enough. It's not strange because he's done a few mistakes this year."
