He has talent, but as Philip says it's drowned by his poor attitude and over-confidence in himself. Bendtner really needs a very strict manager to set him straight, and I reckon that is why he plays quite well for the Danish national team. He already have 45 games and scored some 20 goals in them I think. He is not top-4 talented but if he put his mind to it, he could be a very good player for the clubs just beneath.

I don't like him, he is arrogant and have a piss poor attitude when playing for his clubs (that pay his wages!). He really needs to grow up, and is like a less talented version of Balotelli in that regard.

Preben Elkjær Larsen. Elkjær is a given name. Having said that he was known as Elkjær.

ok, nobody within denmark uses the larsen bit.

it's his middle name as far as i know. in fact his wikipedia entry states his name as "preben elkjær larsen" and then refers to him as just "elkjaer" for the rest of the document.

i like how he used to smoke constantly.
