Fergie is all over this. Only goes to a few training sessions, only gives a few team talks before the game, half time etc, only at most games & only meets up with Ole after most games for a chat. So the two biggest games so far Ole has had as manager of Man United, he has let Fergie do the team talk... i'm not really sure what that says about him as a manager.
Ole is just a willing patsy like Di Matteo, only difference is he didn't have Fergie backing him up and telling him what to do. Regardless there has been a massive improvement and change in attitude.
I don't buy into tribalism and the hatred associated with it.
I had a U turn a few years for one reason or another and made the decision to share the same philosophy.
The short of it is that my enjoyment of football dropped significantly, if I miss a game now I'm not really bothered, when we win I'm happy but not overjoyed. I don't believe its possible to fully support a team and get maximum enjoyment unless you go all in. In short, in my opinion, it ruins football. I no longer celebrate hard or let a bad result ruin my day, on the other hand I no longer celebrate hard or let a bad result ruin my day...its all a bit beige.
I've also heard people say they have the same philosophy, but come something like the 6 Nations for example, they become the most patriotic specimens on the planet.
Anyway, getting back to the topic on hand, unfortunately it looks like Utd are back.
The way their luck is going, they'll get Porto and spank them... and then not turn up against Citeh, get hammered... and ****ing celebrate.
If we're lucky (good) enough to beat Bayern away, we'll get Citeh.
