Manchester United defender Phil Jones was brought in for his first start in two months and was left on the floor by Kevin de Bruyne as Manchester City took control of the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Jones and fellow England international Jesse Lingard were marked down by BBC Sport readers during the derby day defeat - with scores of 2.57 and 2.47 respectively.
But former Wales midfielder Robbie Savage came to Jones' defence on 5 Live.

Are his best days behind him? Yes. Is his quality what it was? No. Are his performances what they were. No
****ing fantastic. This just doesn't get any better for us. We're the European champions, we're the world champions, we're going to win the league, we're breaking records left, right and centre, we're the best team in the world - and, the icing on the cake - both Man United and Everton are in complete and utter disarray. It's the stuff dreams are made of.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
