No doubt the referee’s echo chamber will be ‘ah but it was after the ball had gone, so it’s irrelevant’ - same as they trotted out for Pickford’s assault on Virgil… apparently you can do what the **** you want as long as the ball has been played. ****ing jokers… always changing the narrative to post rationalise their **** decisions… or even missing them completely… Peter Walton, Mike Dean and his cronies… the consistency of Premier League refereeing is abysmal.

Apparently they just got the longest away win run in PL history.

It's all about letting the game flow, and ignoring the small challenges.

That second one is about as late a tackle as you’ll ever see.

Just seen the goal on MOTD. Mike Dean is potentially bent. They do say history reveals itself.

Xhaka got a red for not even making contact with Cancelo on Saturday. Yet these two get away with a couple of leg breakers. And they think the leagues not bent...

That second one is a horrendous challenge. He's so lucky he didn't break a leg or do a knee.

I didn't see the game but those look really poor decisions, the officiating on the PL is terrible particularly in terms of consistency. It always seems to be them who are one of the sides who benefit. I suspect that the outcome would have been very different if that challenge was done by a Wolves player on Fernández or by someone Ronaldo in a week or so
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They got away with a similar one against us a couple of years ago when Lindleoff had hacked down Origi just before they scored. The reason VAR didn't give it then was that the ref hadn't made a 'clear and obvious' error

The bottom video? As the players go crashing off the pitch you can see a banner in the bottom corner of the screen that says "chance 6 mins". So I would assume that's the 6th min of the game.

They got away with it yesterday alright, lack of end product from Wolves and Pogba should have been off but they still come away with the 3 points. Wolves away is a tough fixture too.

Exactly, changing the narrative to suit the onfield decision. Ridiculous how they give **** like that against us, then let Utd off with not one but two late tackles which could have seen Wolves home and hosed...

There was a bit of United willl make the money back in shirt sales chatter earlier in the thread (instead James probably did that)...
