Surely not, even for Chelseas new owners - would make absolutely no sense, from an on field perspective

I wonder if there is any truth in this, is it Ronaldo angling for a move or ten Hag pushing him out, I suspect even if it is the latter the club/manager will work hard to ensure it doesn't appear that way as the fans love him, but looking at the situation objectively his presence so far has hindered team performances. Ten Hag must fear that could continue and could cost him his job.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I don't think resigning him would have been a problem regardless of cost if he suited their style of play, but he clearly didn't, which is what made it such a crazy signing.

Yeah exactly, not sure what they were thinking. Sterling looks a better fit if he signs for them.

Some UTD supporters are actually raging over the rumour that UTD rejected an expensive transfer deal for Maguire. In what universe would that even happen.

Ten Hag lining up 4 or 5 chumps from the Dutch league

Given how they keep hiring managers with such limited scope in terms of the players they target, it is a real shame they did not hire a manager from the League of Ireland.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

                        Like Stephen Kenny???

I think the LOI has an opportunity with Brexit to keep a lot of the good young Irish players as opposed to the current scenario where they are harvested by english teams youth academies never to be heard again.

On United signing a load of dutch players, that might be ok in the short term. In reality they are a **** team but they are still better than what they did last season. So even if they didn't sign a single player this summer, Ten Hag will probably be able to get a better song out of them that Ole and Ralf managed between them last year. So no matter what, he will be seen as a positive addition next season. I think.

Also, the players will pull their finger out at the start of the season as well.

I just hope that we still spank them at O-T on the 3rd league game of the season. Pity they don't have a Thursday night special the week before that!!!

deJong now apparently 'refuses' to leave Barca for Old Toilet. Good lad... couldn't make this **** up...! United now as attractive as a pig in lipstick for top players.

I hope this is true!!! I reckon all the vibes these days are around this for them.

                              A. look at where they are now. At the beginning of a complete rebuild again.
                              B. Look at what has happened to previous big money signing. Slab, Sancho, Van De Beek etc.

I reckon they have so many problems to solve, so many half baked strategies to unwind. They will either fluke a success formula, or they wait. And we know what the wait is like.

I also think the fans want results, they will talk about patience, but it will not last.

They need ETH to be the 2nd coming of Klopp/Pep

Big players dont have to go to United for the big bucks now as and as they are not in the CL and have a team full of cunts this decline is going to go on for a while yet
