Surely it comes down to the person on the receiving end though.
One person might be more resilient than another and be better equipped/supported in how they get through it.
For me they are all reprehensible acts that society needs to always remain firm against. I just tend to see all of them as being very serious and completely wrong.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

All good brother I was just clarifying my position .Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostWas not suggesting in the slightest that you were and hope it did not come across as such with regards you or Sus.
Just saying that it is not a case of which is perceived as being worse, as the person on the receiving end of either deserves the same levels of empathy, respect and help.
Have seen my god daughters (one white and gay, one biracial) between them go through the entire gambit of such abuse ( homophobic abuse, racial abuse and physical/mental abuse) from strangers and a partner and I can say with no hesitation that none of what either has gone through was a lesser form of abuse and suffering in my eyes.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Just a hunch but i don't think we'll see Greenwood in a United jersey again.
The club have tested the waters and public opinion is firmly against him playing for them again.
He'll see his contract out but won't play for them.

I wish I shared your optimism mate. As soon as they struggle for form or numbers they’ll play him IMO.Originally posted by spud_gun View Posthttps://twitter.com/AndrewHWestern/s...98607361261794

I thought Team Viewer pulled out of their shirts sponsorship deal later last year and United were looking for a new partner for 23/24 onwards?
If they are still in the market, a lot of potential sponsors will be walking away as the Greenwood scenario rumbles on. It has PR disaster written all over it.We are here for a good time not a long time....

Really becoming a circus and the appointment of Kroll just confirms it was only ever about the brand and monetary repercussions (which most thought was the case but maybe hoped otherwise).
What Greenwood did and the impact upon his victim was never a consideration in terms of general morality.
The only sliver of hope there could be is that Kroll have been appointed to assess how they could get rid of Greenwood with the least amount of financial blowback on the club.
I still think the best way is to honour his contract by continuing to pay him, but do not have him or any of his hanger ons near the club, don't have him training, don't have him at games but have him still have to report in to club reps X amount of times a week so that he cannot just leave the country for a few years other than at the same time other players are on holiday. Just keep paying him, hang onto his registration and let him fade from memory and eat/drink his way into obscurity.
What's he going to do? Sue the club for paying him what they agreed to pay him?I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
