What was the joke used when Everton last played & got booted out of Europe at the group stage. Was it Easyjet, in & out of Europe in hours or something?

LOL - Heard they had budgeted for last 32, even if they got the Europa they could have balanced the books - They aint buying in January unless they sell or loan.
I make no apologies, this is me

                  Almost correct sir:

Since United budget to reach the Champions League quarter-finals, their premature departure from the competition will mean a projected income hit of about £19.5 million in participation and performances fees and reduced TV pool payments.

Two home knockout games would also have brought in about £8.2 million in matchday income, meaning a £27.7 million hole in finances.

Wasn't it in 2005 after they'd thrown a hissy fit about us being awarded their place l?

2006 - we got in because we won it the year before

You sure they weren't eliminated in August 2005?

                              :

The timeline was the funny part

                              Eternity > 2005 - dreamed of qualifying
                              May > 2005 - qualified
May > 2005 - enraged that we went and won and took their place
                              May > 2005 - UEFA made a ruling allowing a 5th place from PL
                              August 2005 - 1st hurdle qualifying, and they're OUT

Read somewhere that Ten Hag has spend more in 3 transfer windows than Jurgen has in 15!!! That might be net spend but whatever way you carve that up, its ****in bat****.

Can't see how they can give him any more money to spend.

We should hammer them at the weekend
