One way to stop this kind of behaviour from happening on the pitch would be if Greenwood didn’t rape anyone.
What a farce. That said, this just shines the spotlight on him again and reminds everyone of what he did so I hope Getafe and the Spanish FA really go after Bellingham.Modifying post.

Nice. I see Bellingham could be in a bit of trouble for calling Greenwood a rapist last night.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostMe, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

It’s gone to lip readers to determine between rapist and rubbish
Either way, I don’t see how it could result in more than a slap on the wrist, it’s not a protected characteristic, and if it’s in the realm of slander, that’s between the two players.

Totally agree mate. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind other than the most parochial United fan that the guy was guilty so he’s going to have to grow a harder skin to deflect some of the **** that’ll be coming his way. Whether that be right or not , it’s gonna happenOriginally posted by Kenneth View PostIt’s gone to lip readers to determine between rapist and rubbish

The bottom line is ‘if’ there were an explanation as to what happened that wasn’t domestic abuse and rape, we’d have heard it by now. It was what it was, the families have stepped in and found a way for he and his partner to ‘make a go of it’. It was literally the only way to keep him out of jail.
But, Greenwood can’t have it all. If he wants to have a career as a public figure and a high profile sportsman he will also spend the rest of his career being reminded of what he did.
It is the very least he deserves.Modifying post.

Surely Getafe’s PR team should say that complaining about this, and reminding everyone about Greenwoods antics means it would just be better off forgetting about it.
You’d think Greenwood would have some shame, and just keep it to himself- embarrassing that he even went and spoke to the manager about it, in the first placeI don't tip

The only way I can see it benefiting Getafe is if they want to buy him it potentially drives the price down, the counter side to that is they are putting the player in a difficult situation by highlighting it which wouldn't be a good move...Originally posted by Mr Pink View PostSurely Getafe’s PR team should say that complaining about this, and reminding everyone about Greenwoods antics means it would just be better off forgetting about it.
