I think Marcus handled it very well without coming across as a ****** in any way. He continues to do his community work quietly despite all the noise and focus put on him by the manager.

I don’t think he is what we need, but his personality would probably fit well. Not a ******. He has played more double the minutes of Jota and more goals despite being played across the front line and midfield.

He is paid 375k ffs. He has never been a top tier footballer. Salah is probably pointing to that when sorting his contract out.

He is very good when he is at the top his game, but his form is all over the place from season top season. Speaks volumes that Utd fans are not that fussed he is going.

Our owners could also point out they’ve challenged for nowt for years due to them paying over the odds for mediocrity whereas we’ve challenged on many fronts as we’ve got a good squad compared to a few being over paid.
