Long may he stay there and long may his form continue.

Its great that the likes of Mctominay and Antony leave and become decent. NO player with half a brain would go there at the moment. ( unfortunately that leaves quite a few decent footballers)

Amusing that at this stage of the season we have double their points total, or to put another way the same as Man Utd and Everton combined
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Watching MOTD2 at the moment and just seen that their backup keeper had a bit of a nightmare.

Onana back in goals for the Farmers League Cup midweek then

We’ve got twice as many points as them. We have exactly the same points as them and Everton combined and 1 more than Man U and Spurs combined.

I really hope this continues next season. I feel we are owed a few more seasons of this hapless underperformance for the decades of trauma in the 90s / 00s

Its cleat they need two new keepers and a no 9 who can put the ball in a net - That won't come cheap and if they don't win the Europa league they are going to way short on funds to make anymore signings unless they flog Mainoo/Rashford and Garnacho. I did listen to the Utd game on the radio and the commentator mention he can see progress in Amorins methods with the team - they got bloody trounced
I make no apologies, this is me

In the PL era yes, One thing I find remarkable about Man Utd is that for all their success and being viewed as one of the biggest clubs in the country they have only ever had 3 managers win them a top flight title, the dominant eras of Ferguson (13) and Busby (5) and Ernest Mangnall (2) at the start of the 20th century.

For comparison Slotvwoild he the 10th LFC manager yo win a top flight league title.

Amorim has a worse point record at Man Utd than Hodgson had with us

Yup I feel like his charisma has bought him some time, and he doesn’t get scrutinized enough for his results. The narrative that he doesn’t have the players for his system is nonsense too if you ask me. You can say that the players aren’t good enough in general, but the narrative that the majority of the squad isn’t able to adapt to a new system, doesn’t make much sense to me- does it mean that they will only buy players who have experience playing that system?

If I was big Jim, I’d be seriously worried about putting all my eggs in the Amorim basket. I could see him getting big money to spend in the summer, then starting next season in similar form to their current form, and being sacked by October/November - and they rinse and repeat
                        I don't tip

Scott Mctominay scored another two goals to keep Napoli in contention at the top of the League last night. 8 league goals for the season from midfield.

TBF he was only sold to satisfy FFP such was the limit they were/are at - They cannot afford to miss out on Europe next season as for FFP and Euro FFP they will be a busted flush unless they sell all there HG talent.
