It certainly looks like the respect for them has gone.

Just watched the replay, Januzaj was the Mancs best player and seemingly who they rely on especially with no RVP and Rooney their side is big average at best.

Good to see Charlton in the stands puffing his cheeks out and shaking his head

        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Janice is their best player at the moment. However, he is being heavily overplayed. Burn out will happen

The fact that they are relying on him just so shows how quickly they have fallen.

Not so sure. He starts a lot from the bench, only started about 8 PL games.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

To be fair they rely on him because RVP and Rooney are out. We'd have to rely on Aspas if Suarez and Sturridge were out. Although we'd still have more talent than them in Cout and Sterling.

I highly doubt we'd rely on Sterling to save us. The rest of the team is chock full of internationals but they just give it to him and stand back!

I think it's also important not to underestimate Phil Neville's impact either.

Bob Paisley also had this problem with Shanks. He continued to come to training to keep fit after he retired and even joined in the 5 aside games, this continued to undermine Bob until he asked Shanks to use the facilities after he had finished the formal training sessions.

Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.

Bob Paisley was also our most successful manager, so it didn't affect him too much.
                        Oh I don't know.

It may have if Bob had not grown a pair and asked Shanks to stop meddling, players were still listening and looking to Shanks for confirmation of what Bob was trying to achieve. Nobody can survive if the audience is looking elsewhere for encouragement.

Point is, it's not an excuse for failure.

So Vidic isn't keen on renewing his contract in the summer. That was one of the players that could have kept it together for them, a leader. They don't have many of them, so if he stats losing interest it's a good sign.

Rafael was lucky to be on the pitch and should have gone for a "tackle" second half (which on another day could possibly have been a straight red) after previously being given a yellow
