If we turn up at their place, we'll put 3 or 4 past them easily.

Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge and Coutinho up against their back 4? ****ing beautiful

Ferguson was a great manager who for the last two years was getting a (relatively) **** team to play far far better than the sum of their parts. Now Moyes is left with a defence without a single player who you could say will be there in three years time, a midfield that is easily by-passed without Carrick anchoring it, and with three class attackers and a young kid who could turn out to be class but wasn't even on the bench tonight.

I think Moyes has been dealt a fairly ****ty hand, compounded by the transfer ****-ups the club made in the summer. That said, his own overly negative tactics have compounded this further still.

Mata was a good signing. He needs two more transfer windows to be able to put his stamp on the side.
Nobody would rate our back line either. A midfield that gets bypassed without Gerrard anchoring it and no replacements on the bench. We're 11 points and 27 goals ahead of them. Their front line should be good enough to have them mullering most teams. But they have Moyes.

It's going to take some smart investment to turn this around for United and I'm sure Moyes isn't the man to do that. If they don't sack him this summer then I'm confident that we can enjoy witnessing another miserable season for them. They must realise that he needs to be replaced, hopefully his replacement will also fail miserably and accelerate their decline. Even if they bring in a decent manager at the end of this season they won't have CL to offer and will have to desperately throw ****loads of cash at players in the hope of improving their team/squad like Spurs did last summer.

ITV (Adrian Chiles) after tonight's game: 'Utd should have realised that things were not right/preparing for the future, 2,3,4.. years ago. (quickly adds) you can't blame the last manager, the players or the current manager. But Utd should have known this was coming, years ago.'

I've (poorly) paraphrased the above but he did say 'you can't blame the last manager'. What? Yes you ****ing can. He bought 99% of the squad and picked the new manager. Grow a pair of ****ing balls Chiles!

                    Rant over.

Would they have to announce to the New York Stock Exchange (shareholders) of their intention to sack/replace Moyes? If memory serves me correctly, they did when Ferguson decided to retire.

It's just lovely seeing United sinking to lower depths by the week. Moyes breaking negative record after negative record. They've used up all of their good fortune and enjoyed the benefit of corruption whilst Fergie was pulling the strings.

The only thing keeping Moyes in a job now is Ferguson's pride/stubbornness, sacking Moyes would be tantamount to admitting that he made a massive error and ****ed up, will he do that ? Will he do what's best for the club he allegedly loves or will he do what's best for his ego and keep the Clueless One in charge for as long as possible ?

Their responsibility is to the shareholders and not Fergie so yes they would have to.
