I then want them to finish 7th and go through the Europa league qualifiers in July. Total and utter humiliation.

If they win, well it's only olympiakos who are ****ing ****, plus it will hopefully keep moyes in a job....

I'm not worried about them winning the champions league....a) every other team left in the competition will ****ing destroy them and b) I hear the well liverpool won it and they weren't that good.....big big differences between were we where and were they are.....we had team spirit, the fans fully behind the players/manager/owners and the key thing, we had a top class manager who knew European football inside out.

I'm not going to be actively cheering them on. I want Moyes to be in a job as long as possible, and if they get ****ed over tonight and then City batter them I reckon Moyes will get ****ed. The longer they're in the CL the longer they struggle in the league same with Chelsea.

Same with when they play City too, if they win it helps us in a big way.

with you on that. A defeat tonight and a stuffing next week at City surely makes sacking a certainty. A Win will also give them a bit of confidence going into the City game.

Been thinking about this and I agree. I've never, ever wanted those c***s to win anything.... but then there's the manc derby, next week, and I might have to change my mind... nah, **** it, hope they get battered in every game.

7th won't get into the Europa league. Only 5th and 6th will and whoever goes into the qualifying rounds will be determined by who finishes lowest in the league between the 6th place team and the FA Cup winners/runners up.

So I hope they get 6th.

There's also a place free due to city winning the League cup as that no longer goes to the runner up. So 5th, 6th and 7th. I could be wrong.

only because it might give us a glimmer of hope they wont bin moysie off and he can continue to work his formidable magic brand of management.
with a bit of luck they might even do us a favour and beat city. you have to think of the bigger picture.

Yes thats the one thats going to 6th place. Europa league places are for 5th in the league and the two winners of the cups.

So 6th gets City's place and the other place will go to the FA cup runner up given the line up of the semis this season.
