Some snippets from RedCafe - What a bunch of bellends

The feckers are 20 points clear of us. TWENTY. Moyes should be sacked right now purely because of this.

100% agree. That is some shameful ****.
I'm not saying we're better than Liverpool either but to be that far behind them is grounds for sacking.

It could be much much worse, if they had just beaten us to go clear for example
Or we could live in Liverpool and be scousers and have that accent and look like we've been hit under the chin with a shovel

There is no silver lining. It's going to be the worst day ever when liverpool win the league.

Everyone in the media wants them to win it! why though? why do the media love them so much? absolute filth of the earth and yet the media love them. Confused.

Last time Liverpool won the league I was too young to remember it.
Any survival tips old timers? Preferably something that doesn't involve killing oneself.

FFS, some people. Why would they think like that? Why the bitterness? Beyond the rivalry, why is there so much hatred?

      Sometimes football is just ****.
      Are we winning?

I am loving the bitterness. Been reading some of the Twitter timelines of my favourite bitter bell ends and they are a joy to behold.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I sometimes don't get the nastiness from Mancunians towards scousers. What is this **** about? I mean, forget the football rivalry, but it's deeper than that.

The two sets of fans are more similar than most would ever like to admit. It's pretty mutual really.
            Oh I don't know.

Without knowing what it's like living up that way I would tend to agree.

The one noticeable difference to me is their obsession and hatred of us during their own actual games, games that we're not even involved in.

                Yeah that's just odd.

there is a few things - two 'big' cities close together always gets a little rivalry going -c we have the beatles they have oasis etc etc -

also there are some historical things as well, like iirc they built the manchester ship canal, which screwed over the docks in liverpool

little things like that are the basis of the rivalry.

but their bitterness goes way way beyond all that stuff. It's pure hatred - but we have our own fans like that, as do everton with us, spurs with arsenal and vice versa etc

what it comes down to me imo is a society issue - brainless knobheads who need some sort of tribal mentality in order to feel wanted/important.

Half these cunts don't give a **** about man united as such....it's just their 'banner' that they want to get behind so they have an excuse to go out and hate another tribe

i love football, i love rivalries and i love the banter that can be had........but even though football is a massive part of my life and it seriously it is...means so ****ing much to me.....i don't have any deep horrible hatred for any other team else and deep down i do know there are more important things (health/family/security/friends etc)

i do have a hatred for knobhead fans though - be it United/Everton or even our own fans.

Did you really just compare The Beatles to Oasis?

I know. I was thinking yesterday how I would approach it if we won the league.

I decided that I would just be the happiest ****er around, not holding any grudges or rubbing anyones faces in it.

As we saw over the fixtures this week, the football community can come together in an amazing fashion to commemorate the lives lost at Hillsbrough which helps to reduce the game itself to sport which doesn't need the anger that often accompanies it.

The first thought if we win it should be for the 96.

And that includes the vast majority of whom are ok fans, who engage in perfectly acceptable banter.
