If Sam Allardyce can keep getting jobs in the premier league... Moyes will no problem at all.

It is mental... that i wonder what the next manager coming in thinks of Rooneys new £85 million quid contract??

Said this months ago United are so desperate to stay in the top tier, that they will spend silly money of transfer fees & give ridiculous wages to sign and keep players. Mata was the first big splurge, Rooney's contract was the second. There'll be more.

Stinks of desperation.. i love it

They have been desperate for a while to get rid imo.
I get that part with the clause, but why not just let him have the last 3 weeks and part ways? I mean not much gained by giving an interim manager 3 games that don't matter. If they had the long term replacement ready, then sure, but for this...

Getting Ryan Giggs some work experience is the only answer.

Nah, **** him. He's an arrogant cunt who never doubted his own ability for a minute. He overestimated himself to the nth degree

I do too. But only to the level that I did with Hodgson when he was sacked from us. He deserved the professional criticism but it often seems to go well beyond that.

As for journos and fans being hypercritical and having short memories, surely that is par for the course?

maybe they have given moyes the bullet early so they can try and get lvg to commit to them rather than spuds.
if they do go with lvg then it will mean dbf will be told to butt out. im sure the main reason dbf wanted moyes is he felt he could still have some influence and pull the strings. the biggest **** up for them was not insisting the old coaching team had to stay. moyes shot himself in the foot there, what a bell end.

if they get van gal then he will be his own man, he is very experienced but he wont have much to work with. a few tossers to sort out, very cliquey, aging players and sub standard ones leaving, needs a massive rebuild. it'll take time no matter who the manager is.
even if lvg is the right guy it could take 2-3 years for the pieces to fit but will he get the time after what has gone before...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think they thought that the media **** was going to be too much. My guess is before the leak they planned to keep him until the end of the season. Maybe someone deliberately tipped their hand. The other option is that certainty now might make it easier to negotiate for managers and even players they want to recruit.

Doesn't sound like Moyes will be accepting that one year payoff then!
