Although Rafa to Chelsea was the only real shocker imo. Loads of talk regarding the likelihood of Moyes and Hodgson's appointments long before they happened.

Former England striker Michael Owen , who played under Ferguson at United from 2009 until 2012, said he was proud to have worked with the Scot.
"He is arguably the greatest manager to have ever lived and to say I played under him for three years is a proud thing to say," he said.

Ah Bender, it's his opinion man. Don't get worked up about it.

He sat behind him in the dugout for best part of three years. Great.

And in fairness he is a better manager than Evans, Houllier, Keegan, Hoddle and Pulis ffs.

We could be in for another dose of "He's the master, and he's just like a Scouser".

Dream on! 10 years + in a job, achieving Europe with little money – he’s not glamorous but is a safe and stable bet – exactly what is needed when filling size zillion shoes! Don’t forget Fergie is still on the board and will still be there for advice. Well planned I would say!

Baines, Fellaini and Bale – happy days!

This is one of my manc mates.....Sure some describe Hodgson as safe and stable.

i think they are in for a rude, rude awakening

Where has he got Bale from? They cant afford him and Spurs wouldn't sell him to them

I'm cracking one off over this.

David Moyes is a good manager and has done very well with Everton, but I'll be delighted if he's revealed as the next Man Utd manager.
