Agree about Clyne.Originally posted by danperkins View PostI like Clyne, if he was playing for us and performing like he has over the season... we would be raving about him.Interesting to see how he'll get on at a bigger club with huge pressure. Ward Prowse does look like a good player alright. I'd take Wanyama or Schnderlin too.

Don't think he has enough quality in other areas though so to him it viable we'd need to totally rethink our attacking strategy to make it work IMO.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Typical United Cunts. As soon as they can they splash the cash . I'm Absolutely fuming with the complete incompetence our club have shown in the transfer market time and time again. Last summer we had a position of strength and pissed it all away on match of the day ****e.
Clubs run by an idiot who almost took huddlesfield to the brink and yet is allowed to oversee one of the biggest and allowed to be some sort of authority on player recruitment. FSG may be good businessmen but the know nothing about football or what makes a good footballer.
Thats like letting slinky run a sexual harassment class. Madness.

It has been just a touch noticeable that you're a bit pissed off lately Leyton
ManU spent a vast amount on players last summer you wouldn't exactly say have been resounding successes though, despite their improved league position. They've come nowhere near our run last season despite it, and despite the "massive advantage" of not being in Europe they loved to go on about with us last season.
As for Ayre being an idiot, that's quite obviously untrue, FSG as you say our good businessmen and the job of a club chief exec involves a lot of different stuff aside from buying players; if Ayre was so bad at all of it he'd hardly still be in a job. The Huddersfield stuff is utterly irrelevant to his performance at LFC honestly.
And as for knowing a good footballer, does Roman at Chelsea, or the Sheiks at City, or Kronkwhoshisname at Arsenal, or the Glaziers? I don't see what that has to do with anything at all, no doubt they will judge recruitment on the success of those whose job that is in the longer term (as they did with Comolli).I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
