Would be a downgrade in my opinion. Lloris is a good keeper but I think he makes more mistakes than De Gea and certainly doesn't make as many saves.

Agreed, don't get the Lloris love. Pretty much anybody they can get will be a downgrade though. De Gea will be one of the world's best, if not already.

Very much so and was very highly rated when he played in the Bundesliga, and to keep the German connection going, Leno is another young German keeper that looks like he is going to be very good

Just checked his stats for the league. 26 games played (19 starts and 7 as a sub) and he returned 3 goals and 10 assists.


Not outstanding but not awful either for a guy settling into a new league and a new country. Of course for the money spent on him you would be expecting a better and more immediate return, but after all the talk about how awful he has been in the media I was expecting his goal/assist return to be worse than what it is.

What did catch my eye is that if his goals and assists were removed, then the Mancs would have had 13 less points this season
