    Manc fans are worried.. and so they should be.. i hate to say but they've lost one of if not the greatest manager of all time. The 6 year contract is a statement of intent IMO but I do wonder with Moyes in charge and the fact that the manc fans are clearly on edge about this appointment (which is hilarious btw), will the Glazers sanction some big transfers to appease the supporters?

        They want Ronaldo back to ease the pain and all the extra emphasis that "Sir Alex picked Moyes" so he must be good. It's all aimed at the fans and maybe the players who may not be so sure.

                  Ya never know with the mancs. No matter how much financial trouble they are in they always,always manage to make marquee signings. This summer will be no different IMO.

                    I honestly think MUFC are ****ed now. Although I falsly predicted their fall too many times. Moyes is not manager for big teams..but it's still funny SAF is only person who I respect and despise at the same time.

                      They aren't in financial trouble. Their finances are extremely healthy, even with the debt. Their debt is the only thing keeping all the other clubs in the game.

                        I meant previously, doesn't matter what is going on at United they will always make big signings as their revenue stream is so strong.

                          i also am expecting to see scholes, giggs and maybe even ferdinand to retire now

                          it would make perfect sense, they've won everything, it''s the end of their 'era' with ferguson - no points hanging around.

                          that would be a big blow for them off the pitch as well as on.
                          good shout on the retirees. Although ferguson is still running everything down there so not sure.

                          SOmething is rotten in Denmark with this appointment though, This is as leftfield as the Bebe transfer.

                          They could have handpicked from the best and most succesful managers in the world, Guardolia may have waited, Mourinho would not say no and Ancelotti is free again + i am sure a whole host of other top managers would not have turned it dowm;

                          Yet they pick up one from the bargain bucket at Aldi......Something is not quite right.
