They'll definitely get a top striker in, they'll splurge big money on whoever they can get. Wonder if Romero is De Gea's replacement or Valdes replacement? Would love it if they lost De Gea. Be huge as he is a worth 15 points +

      They will sign Reus.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are in advanced negotiations for Ángel Di María, with the French club having offered €40m (£28.5m) to buy the 27-year-old.

The fee is less than half the British record £59.7m United paid Real Madrid for Di María 12 months ago. Ed Woodward, the executive vice-chairman, is thought to be resisting PSG’s offer as he seeks a higher price. Although Louis van Gaal had wanted the Argentinian to stay the manager now accepts Di María wishes to leave and so there would be some surprise if he were still at the club when the transfer window closes on 1 September.

It would be very funny if they made a £30m+ loss on him.
That rug really tied the room together.

I ****ing hate Utd. They will lose £30m on a single player within 12 months and the media will still be furiously wanking over LVG's comedy press releases.

Di Maria and De Gea falling over each other to get out of the club. Despite having all the money in the world and CL football. Replaced by an unproven Depay, Romero and an ageing pension-grabbing Schweinsteiger.

They took one step forward from Moyes' season and now it appears they have taken zero steps this summer. Maybe even one small step back if De Gea goes. They quailfied for CL on account of us taking 4 steps back and now they think they can challenge the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.

Reality will be great, can't wait for the season to start. I expect pamphlets, lots of pamphlets.
            One tit for another.

I very much doubt they are done spending I would expect a couple of big money signings from them before the window closes.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                I don't doubt that either.

We spent big too when we went after Carroll, Adam, Downing, etc. The best Utd can attract is Pedro, who is basically Di Maria-lite. The proper top players are all using Utd to get better contracts at their respective clubs.

Man U have definitely beefed up their central midfield significantly. It's a key area and will make quite a difference. Loosing De Gea will be big, but if they can get Lloris it will be a close match.

I love how odd Phil Neville looks in that picture. He's dressed like and looks like a history teacher. Black suit trousers and brown shoes for a night out
