I didn't mind Viduka, despite the 4 goals, but I hated the late 90's Leeds team with the likes of David Hopkin, Gunnar Halle, Batty, Weatherall, Alfe-Inge etc. Cunts!

I think it's only Tee and myself who've said that in the past, and both of us come from South London. You're right that we don't get the city in the same way that a local would, can't dispute that as I've always lived around 200 miles away.

Not sure what it proves though. I hate Chelsea more than I hate United, purely because I'm not faced with United fans on a daily basis, except I suppose I am as there's plenty of them around here too. It's not a United love in though, it's just varying degrees of hatred

I know you don't have a go at non-local supporters, which is decent, but I think it's a valid point that we don't share a connection with the city, I certainly don't if I'm being honest. I'd be idiotic if I took offence for not getting it seeing that the only time I ever stay in Liverpool is the odd occasion I come to watch us play.

By the same degree not many from Liverpool get London but lots have a strong opinion about how they don't like it. It's all fair enough really. I just really ****ing hate Chelsea

Can't stand Chelsea but its always United for me, I ****ing detest everything about them. I've said it before too, never understand why we even have a thread about them, I'd be happy if I never had to discuss them bar the twice a year we play them. This thread was great during the Moyes era but for the most part of my adult life I'd had loved to have forgotten they even exist. We accuse them often enough of having an obsession with us but I think plenty of our own have one with them too.

Man Utd - Since Fergie cunt. Best mate supported them as kids and I liked them a little!
Chelsea - Since 2005 and Mourinho. Utter *******s all over.

I'm from East London and can see how Chelsea are hated more / equally by those of us who don't have that regular abuse from Mancs. My family are Arsenal / West Ham, most of my mates growing up were Arsenal / Spurs / West Ham. So hating Chelsea is like a way of life, in the same way having butter on your toast is. Chelsea fans also tended to be racist bigots too, which just added to their allure.

I do hate the Mancs just as much, that doesn't lessen the hatred of Man U it just raises up the hatred of Chelsea.

One thing that does grate on me, which may be irrational, is when people call Chelsea fans Cockney ******s. Or use Cockney as a term of abuse aimed at them. Sarf London isn't where Cockneys are from. Chelsea aren't Cockneys, never were. They are ******s though. Huge, hairy, ****ing ones.
