I think Spurs have proven buying players is the easy part. Getting them to all fit and gel is something totally different.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Showing the size and cost of their squad cements what a fantastic job Rodgers is doing here, and to a degree Martinez at Everton

        Savage. Eh?

Tom Cleverley: Has played in all but four of United's league games this season, but I am not sure what he contributes. Does he pass it well? Does he score goals? Does he tackle? What does he actually do? He plays for England and I think he is good, but I am not sure what he contributes and, for me, is not a Manchester United player.
"He's ****, he does **** all, he plays for England, I think he is good, but he's **** and does **** all"

        Huh?

Ashley Young: At times, he looks great and scores some great goals, but he's only completed one league game this season. That says to me he is inconsistent, so what is he in the team for? To produce goals? He has not been doing that enough, so he should go.

Savage can do one. He's an imbecile. Does he still do that laughable 'tactics' column for the beeb? He wouldn't know a tactic if kicked him in the nads.
          Oh I don't know.

Maybe 'he's only completed one game because he's been constantly subbed off. Didn't he say he'd made 10 league appearances or somat? Ergo he is in their team

They have played 20 games in the league, so that's hardly regular. I have no idea home many appearances he has made for the record. Nor do I care. I'm just pointing out that Robbie Savage is a bell end.
              Oh I don't know.

Whether this article makes sense or not, is irellevant. The most telling thing of the whole article is how manU are currently being torn to shreds by the media. This kind of article would never have been published during the fergie years.

Iv also noticed how a lot of the press have now started to refer to him as 'fergie', now that he has gone. When he was the boss they all used to lick his balls and only refer to him as 'sir alex' - even in they're articles when they wasnt even talking directly to him.

It is amusing to see United ripped apart. On the flip side they are only 5 points behind us.

I think Moyes made a big mistake by bringing in his staff but not enough new players. Even if he had to compromise he should have done so, and early, to create the idea that it was now his United. As it is, with Fellaini not playing and the same team as last year he looks like an idiot and appears to have no excuse. In reality I think most people think that United had a pretty weak squad last year which massively over performed and that Fergusson got out at the right time.

Obviously it doesn't help that Moyes is a not a winning manager but I think he could have made life easier for himself.

The other flip side is that we are 5 points ahead of them, and it's January. Who honestly thought that would be the case in August.
