Yep, pretty sure he's got the backing of the board, which includes Ferguson in there. He'll be there next season, unless something dramatic happens.

I really really hope that's the caseOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI feel almost sure they'll stick with him. I think it's already been decided. Moyes has turned down mega lucrative offers to work as a pundit at the World Cup so it seems fair to assume they've told him he'll be there and will have to get busy restructuring the squad over the summer. LOL.
I wish I knew either way now. That way I'd be able to enjoy their losses a bit more fully

Thought Rooney's was worse, looked like they had won the Champions League.Originally posted by Lecter View PostThe Moyes celebration was hilarious and you can clearly see that was a release from the hurt he is going through
My missus said something when she saw that celebration she said it was eerily similar to the type of stuff Roy did near the end of his tenure with us and I kind of get where she is coming from
Moyes is turning more and more into Roy from the rigid tactics to his press conferences and now his overly excited celebrations
I look forward to him starting to face rub

He could have turned down those opportunities irrespective of any assurancesOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI feel almost sure they'll stick with him. I think it's already been decided. Lets face it he has to impress the board somehow because hes not doing that with results and by turning down the offers it shows his commitment to getting it right
I'm not convinced their board will give him free reign or another season
One thing about United is that they aren't indecisive very often
Look at their failures in the transfer window last summer and rather than risk the same thing happening they drafted in Fergie & Gill to sort out the Mata dealBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Something "dramatic"Originally posted by Nigey View PostYep, pretty sure he's got the backing of the board, which includes Ferguson in there. He'll be there next season, unless something dramatic happens.
You couldn't get anything more dramatic than their results so far this yearBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I think most United fans would think that was a bargainOriginally posted by rudedog View PostAssuming Moyes is on the reported £5 million a year, it should cost Utd around £25 million to terminate his contract at the end of the season
6 Year contract

Those results must be on a par with Hodgsons and or Kennys last 9 games for us
Sorry I don't want to derail the thread but I have to take you up on that - It was the results of the last 22 games of that season - 7W 5D and 10 Losses plus an inability to score consistently all season, poor signings and a lack of vision or tactical awareness in the league that got Dalglish sacked not 9 games as you'd like to believe.
