We are definitely capable of blowing them away but I wouldn't say it's very likely. It'll be a close game like the Capital One Cup game which we should have won easily but didn't. The ref can very easily send it their way.

We have improved since then though, while they have deteriorated.Originally posted by G View Post

Definitely but I've only ever seen two big wins against them in all the games we've played so my brain won't allow thoughts of anything other than a tight game. A similar result to 08-09 and the run in it inspired would be great.Originally posted by Liverpel View PostWe have improved since then though, while they have deteriorated.

They often do. I think we're so clearly better than then that no refereeing can save them. I'm honestly thinking we'll pick up our game again and humiliate them as we did to Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostThese games never just turn out on which side is better
They will be terrified of that happening too, all of their fans are bricking it. They know how poor they are and how dangerous we are.

Of course they can, and the regularly do. But to say the best team never wins in these games is daft. If we play to our best we can take this game away from both Man United and their 12th manOriginally posted by G View PostWhat if we are down to ten men and facing a penalty after 3 minutes?
Of course the ref can turn it. Hopefully we don't give him the chance to.
