    Seriously, no-one EVER photoshop that!

A lot of Mancs I know have had enough now, some were willing to give him time and now, they don't want to know any more. As everyone has already said - he's so Bodgson its unreal. Thing is my Manc mates were giving me **** for saying we should have got rid of Bodgson quick and how he was never right/stone age pub tactics etc. Now I'm happily telling them, and they're accepting that this is exactly the same.

They will struggle to sack him for financial reasons and because Fergie brought him in, do they anger their ambassador or lose more money? They won't like it, but its going to be a long ol time in the wilderness I feel

Moyes has made error after error starting with replacing the back room staff and the terrible efforts in the summer transfer window.

I'm loving that after less than a season the meltdown of the Manc supporters, long may it continue

Liverpool not too big for relegation battle, says Roy Hodgson, after Blackpool loss

Roy Hodgson last night conceded Liverpool cannot regard themselves as being too big for the relegation battle after their Anfield defeat to Blackpool but insisted the club would finish the season nearer the top than the bottom of the table.

Moyes won't get the sack. The Glaziers have no clue about football and never needed to. They had Ferguson running everything, lock, stock & barrel. The only person who could sack Moyes is Alex Ferguson. Chances of that? Zero.

Ferguson will not believe he's got it wrong. He is old school and seems to think managers should still get time. And I'm 100% with him on that. Managers should get time, when they are the right appointment. Obviously he feels Moyes was the right one. I knew it was a disaster from the outset.

Certain managers have a glass ceiling. Most managers in fact.

Brendan Rodgers is a brilliant manager. But put him in Stoke and he'd be doing no better than Mark Hughes. He is not a manager to get the best out of cloggers like Walters & Shawcross. That sort of player is heaven sent for the likes of Pulis & Allardyce. Put them in charge of a bunch of strong, lesser talented players and they'll keep them in the league. Rodgers would do well to avoid relegation.

However, give Rodgers Barcelona and he'd win them the league. Give them Allardyce or Pulis and they wouldn't know what to do.

All that said, what type of manager is David Moyes? Well despite finishing mostly in the top 8 during his tenure, whilst previously hanging around 14th before he came in, many Everton fans wanted him out. Dangerous game. But it wasn't the results, it was the style of football. Just why Hammers fans want Allardyce out - though they should be careful. Sam has left them with a squad tailor made for hoof ball. A pass & move manager will struggle with that lot.

Anyway, the point is David Moyes will never succeed at a big club, his football simply doesn't suit the top players.

That Man was a disaster. In fairness to Roy, he walked into a side that had been 6th the year before & had its best players like Masch (who also left) and Torres wanting out. The board then brought in Joe Cole at great expense and Roy compounded it by bringing in ****e like Poulsen & Konchesky. But the club was on its knees as a result of all the ownership stuff and off field situation. The players minds weren't focused. I think Dalglish was the only man in the world capable go getting that team back on track.

Roy was mad to uptake it on really. He'd had a cushy job at Fulham and could have stayed, but at least he had a go. But he was out of his depth either way. I'd have fancied Roy would have got us in the Europa eventually, but I don't think we'd have ever jumped from that to the CL. I actually think Moyes will struggle to get MUFC top 4, though I guess he will next year if they spend major money.

It's all starting to snowball to fast now. We always knew most united fans were nothing more than glory hunters and now their team is not doing so well the pitch forks and torches are out. Fact is it's easy to support your team when they are winning and it was always going to be he case that their total domination of English football would disappear when Ferguson left.

The difference between Ferguson and Shanks IMO is that shanks built the club up with no thought of his own ego and made it all about the club, the people and the fans and built a dynasty which allowed it to be passed down from one manager to another and always from within the club for continued success, which have been known as "The Liverpool way"

Ferguson on the other hand made It all about him and his achievements alone and he never planned for the long term future of the club after he left and the state of the squad shows that IMO. For years united have needed a new young midfield and older players replacing but he never once went out and addressed that but instead bought a 29 year old striker which did nothing more than paper over the cracks of the squad. Without RVP last season united would have struggled to finish in the top 4 let alone win the league by 11 points.

The empire was build on sand and without Ferguson who controlled the club and everyone around him the cracks have opened up and are there for everyone to see.
