Manchester United: Pep Guardiola jokes about Ferguson 'offer'

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has joked he might have been offered the Manchester United job, but is not sure because of his limited English.

Last year, the former Barcelona coach - who was out of work at the time - said he hoped to manage in England.

The Spaniard, 43, took charge at Bayern in the summer, but joked Sir Alex Ferguson may have offered him the chance to succeed him at Old Trafford.

"Maybe I didn't understand if I received an offer or not!" he said.

On a human level, I almost feel sorry for him. He looks older than fergie.

The man is so far out of his depth that I almost pity him, but then again, if he will persist with it, he kinda deserves what he gets.

When you think how the media chased Villas Boas out of Spurs the support Moyes is getting in incredible from the media.

Every single sign says that Bayern are going to utterly destroy them tomorrow. Moyes is not up to getting a team ready to play quality like Bayern, as he has shown time and again this season and throughout his career.

I wonder if this will be his final humiliation, or will he scrape a draw away at Newcastle at the weekend to continue this incredible (amazing) acceptance of mediocrity?
