Oh I totally agree, don't get me wrong. Just enjoying looking down my nose at them for trying to spend their way out of trouble.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostIf Moyes stays next season, it changes very little. This really sets out the very good managers apart from the over rated ones. The two best managers in the league at the moment are Rodgers and Martinez. These others like Mourinho, Moyes etc just go out and throw money to solve a problem. No desire to develop or improve a player. They dont come close to Martinez and Rodgers in my book

Well that’s fair enough, but Moyes did the same at Everton. Like most managers would, once the money is there they are always going to spend it. Moyes needs an overhaul at United, so of course he’s going to have to spend big.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Those 6 were bought for nearly £200m!!Originally posted by Shanks View PostThe worrying thing will be, if and when Moyes gets the boot, they bring in someone who will actually get the best out of these.
Mata, Rooney, RVP, Kroos, Carvalho, Shaw etc..
Quality players with the right manager.
Not taking in salary considerations which blows the budget further, RVP is injury prone and might be ending his career before Moyes is booted out next December. Kroos will be bullied under any manager, Carvalho is too young and Shaw vastly overrated for that money.
Mata is a fairweather player and Rooney is ageing in weight rather than time.
If all these deals come off its a [sarb]shocker!![/bras]One tit for another.
