He's an autocrat that can either win a treble or completely car crash them. I'm hoping it's the second.

I'll be happy if it's van Gaal.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Does anyone believe he really wrote that?

They apparently want a short term manager with a view to Giggs taking over in three years. They have that with Van Gaal cos it won't take much for Fergie and him to clash. Hopefully they have a barney that tears the club apart, everyone taking sides, mud slinging in the press, love it

Apparently it was done a few months ago and were sent out automatically a few days ago

"Andy. Would you please let it be known how much I appreciated the support I got from the real United fans. They were incredible. I am sorry I couldn't give them the results they are all used to. Thanks. D Moyes."

If Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan says Louis Van Gaal for Man United is a done deal then I'll be amazed if it isn't

Someone told me a day or two back that not only did LVG leave Barca the second time with them virtually in the relegation zone but he also failed to qualify the Dutch for one of the tournaments WC or EC. Haven't bothered to check but if true good to hear he hasn't always been 100% successful.

He's certainly not the sure fire success some are making him out to be. Can't wait to hear about the first Fergie/LVG fall out
