well if the cavani rumours are true and Ibrahimović won't carry on for too long ..then i can see them making a move for Rooney

Thing is they're not going to let Cavani go for much less than they paid which was £55M or so, Kroos is apparently £40M or so as will Muller.

Pure fantasy and that's without the issues of no CL football

I just think Rooney is well past his best and he'll regress still further over the next couple of years. Not worth anything like £300k per week and other teams would be crazy to pay that for a player of his (lack of) quality. I could see him sitting out the latter years of his contract at United hardly getting a game for them.
