Van Gaal will get his tactics right, there's no doubt. The weird part for me is, watching United last year, I feel everyone knew what was wrong with the shape of their team, except the manager, which is very strange.

OTOH, I think they have a problem in defense and through the middle now. They do not have the players and depth they used to have, especially with everyone else having such deep squads. So, I think Van Gaal will definitely improve them, but I personally think they have a long way to go.

One thing, though: No way I'm not putting RVP in my fantasy team. He looks like he'll run himself to pieces for the manager. Can't imagine he won't be the centerpiece again.

holland hardly had anything when creating..purely counter attacking which i guess is what your have to do against spain, but you can't have that over a full season with a club like united. we'll see how he does when there. can't be worse than moysey.

hope he spends loads of money on older players which will give them a chance of competing over a short period, but will have to rebuild again in a few years.
